When the family is stuck on a food it’s great to offer a healthier option. Chips are a real favourite however as a vegetable source they aren’t the best especially if eaten several time a week. Firstly try serving them as potato wedges with their skins on, oven baked in Rapeseed oil. Unrefined Rapeseed is now recognised as a healthy option which can be heated safely unlike most other unrefined oils. Or try making oven baked sweet potato wedges. Mix these in with the chips to start with and over time gradually increase so that there are fewer potato chips. You can also make chips from any of the squash family.
